Patrol and first aid

A patrol team of experienced volunteers is on hand to provide all types of care on the mountain. These patrollers are trained by St. John Ambulance as medical first responders. Whether it’s a simple graze or a complicated fracture, they will be there to help you. Moreover, these patrollers make sure that the clientele is able to practice their favourite sport in complete safety. To this end, they apply the mountain code of conduct (see text attached) and make sure that everyone can enjoy themselves. Should you have any questions about how to practice your sport safely, please do not hesitate to contact them – in the cafeteria, on the slopes or at the summit.

Our funding campaign will take place in spring on the patio, as it does every year. Come and enjoy our delicious hot-dogs and hamburgers.

In addition, starting last year, and thanks to the collaboration of the new Management, the ski bazaar organized each fall may provide us with an excellent opportunity to purchase extra equipment such as a heart defibrillator (AED) or more rescue sleds.

Should you be interested in joining the patrol team, please speak to one of the volunteers or contact Sylvain Gagnon at smjgagnon@hotmail.com or at 819-424-1373, ext. 242.
