Snow school
For more than two years now, the Snow School at Mont La Réserve has been run by Pat Wells, a Level IV member of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) and a Level III member of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation (CSCF).
Mr. Wells has close to 25 years of experience in the ski industry. He began his career in 1986 as an instructor and coach at Mont Orford, and has since worked all over North America, New Zealand and Switzerland. He has also worked as a Level I and II trainer for the CSIA and the CSCF. In addition, he initiated the “Ski Le Gap” program that he ran for 12 years at Mont Tremblant.
Whether it’s helping you make your first turns on snow, perfecting your technique or improving your performance to reach a level of excellence, our team is there to guide you. The Snow School at Mont La Réserve has a multitude of services ready to meet all your needs. Our instructors want to pass on to their students not only their knowledge of, but also their passion for skiing. To this end, they are able to establish very quickly a climate of confidence and fun, making it easy for you to learn. Their method of teaching focuses on self-esteem, and provides a safe, enjoyable environment for learning.
Our instructors have the benefit of on-going training, focused on teaching skills, innovation and safety. All are certified by the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance or by the Canadian Snowboard Instructors Alliance.
Initiation Packages
If you’d like to try downhill skiing, telemark skiing or snowboarding, we’re there to help you face the challenge of a first-time experience! The Snow School offers affordable packages so that you can start enjoying the pleasures winter has to offer. Packages include equipment rental, the lesson and the ski lift ticket. It is hard to say no!
9-week Program
Starting January 9, 2010, for nine consecutive weeks, join a group, have fun and enjoy the benefit of coaching focused on self-esteem. In the program: descents, obstacle courses, video sessions for some groups, a wide range of activities and an end-of-season gala (AGLISSE Gala). In addition, each student will receive a personalized DVD of the group and his exploits. Sign up now!
Personalized Lessons
Whether you’re on your own, in twos or in a group, personalized lessons allow you to monitor your progress and offer you a flexible schedule. You’ll receive a booklet of five courses, and you can then choose the day and time most convenient to you for taking these courses. Let our professionals guide you so you can learn and increase your levels of performance and fun! Our instructors are there to meet your every need and they can help you put some passion back into your runs.
